I used Paint Shop Pro 9 but can be done in any version. You will need a good knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

YOU WILL NEED:

* I have used the artwork of Zindy S.D Nielson. You can purchase her artwork HERE from My PSP Tubes.

Alternatively Zindy has some free images that you are able to use. These can be located HERE.

* Scrap Set - Thank you to Lisa from Sophisticated Scraps for allowing the use of her scrap kits. Lisa's TOU has been included in my supplies, please make sure you read this before using her scrap kit. You can also visit Lisa's website HERE

* Mask - I have included the mask layer in my supplies that I have made myself. This was made with a mask layer and gradients that are included in most Paint Shop Pro Programs.

* Font - I have used Mistral, or you can use a font of your choice.

* My supplies HERE

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Copy and paste frame of your choice. Position to your liking and add drop shadow of your choice. I have included in my supplies the frame layer that I made using the original frame and embellishments from Lisa's scrapkit. You can use mine or make your own using Lisa's supplies from her scrapkit.

3) Layers. New Raster Layer. Copy and paste my mask layer under the frame layer. You should now have something like this.

4) Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer. Position this above your frame layer. Add drop shadow of choice.

5) Add any embellishments to your tag. Lisa has a variety of different embellishments in her scrap kit that can be used.

6) Using your preferred font add your name to the tag and use a drop shadow of your choice.

7) All that is left to do now is to add the artists copyright.

For those of you who have a working knowledge of Animation Shop you can animate your tag to your liking. I have added a little sparkle to my tag as seen below.

YOU WILL NEED:

* Bling Curve - Thank you to GraphicxChic for the use of her embellishments. You can find GraphicxChic located HERE. I have included this bling in my supplies for your use.

* Flower Embellishment - Thank you to Melissa for the use of her scrapkits. Due to Melissa's TOU I am unable to supply you with her scrapkits in my supplies but you can find her Blog located HERE.

Alternatively you can download a scrapkit from Twinky Dezines located HERE. Twinky has a range of gorgeous scrapkits available to use, that include embellishments.

* Scrap Kit - Thank you to Joanna for the use of her scrapkits. The scrapkit I have used is called Addicted To Love. You can download this scrapkit from HERE.

* Font - I have used Artisstamp, or you can use a font of your choice.

* Plug In - Filters Unlimited - Special Effects 2 - Border White Fade.

* Supplies HERE.

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Copy and paste frame of your choice. Position to your liking and add drop shadow of your choice.

3) Layers. New Raster Layer. Select paper of your choice and paste as a new layer. Then select - Effects - plugins - Filters Unlimited - Special Effects 2 - Border White Fade. Or you can use a white picture frame located in Image - Picture Frames. Position this layer under your frame layer. The opacity on this layer has been reduced to 38.

You should have something that looks like this:

4) Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Position this under your frame layer but above your paper layer.

5) I have also used a wordart paper layer underneath my frame layer that is also located in Joanna's scrapkit. The opacity on this layer has been reduced to 10.

6) Add any embellishments to your frame. I have added the yellow heart with red lace and also the you and me forever embellishment from My Digital Addiction. These have been resized to my liking. The red flower embellishment is from a scrapkit from Melissa. The bling you will find located in my supplies folder. Also add a drop shadow of your choice to these layers.

7) Using your preferred font add your name to the tag and use a drop shadow of your choice.

8) All that is left to do now is to add the artists copyright.

* Scrap Set - Thankyou to Lisa from Sophisticated Scraps for allowing the use of her scrap kits. Lisa's TOU has been included in my supplies, please make sure you read this before using her scrap kit. The scrapkit I have used is called "Dottie". You can find this scrapkit and others that Lisa creates HERE

* Mask - One of your choice.

* My Supplies HERE

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 700 x 500. Flood fill white.

2) Open supplies provided. Choose a frame layer and copy and paste this as a new layer. Add dropshadow of your choice.

3) Select one of the papers from the scrap kit and paste this as a new layer. Using your Ellipse tool draw out a circle. Increase the line width to 35. Layers - COnvert to raster.

4) Using your Magic Wand tool highlight the inside of your circle layer. Highlight your paper layer. Selections - Invert - Delete. You should be left with a circle made from your paper layer.

5) Draw out another circle layer in another colour. I have used a very light pink shade. Right click on this new circle layer using your mouse and then click on the properties. Your Vector Property box will appear. Using the drop down box change your line style. I have used Dash Dot Dot but you can use one of your choice. Layers - Convert to Raster. You should now have something like this :

6) Highlight your white background layer. Layers - New Raster Layer. Floodfill this layer with a colour of your choice and add any mask or plugin you may wish to use. I have used a mask layer that comes with Paint Shop Pro 9.

7) Add any embellishments from the scrapkit that you would like. I have added Deco 1, Flower 1 and scattered Doodle 1 around the tag. Add a dropshadow of your choice.
You should now have something like this :

If you want to be a little more creative see what other embellishments you can use instead of the ones I have.

8) Add your tube of choice. Please make sure that you have received permission to use the artist of choice or purchased their artwork if they are a pay to use artist. Add a dropshadow of choice to this layer.

9) All that is left to do is to add your name and to also add the artists © to the tag.

* Paper and Frame layers - These are embellishments that I have made myself. These have been included in my supplies for you to use.

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 700 x 500. Flood fill white.

2) Open up the supplies folder provided. Copy and paste the paper layer. I then duplicated the paper layer and resized it so it was smaller and merged both layers. Add a drop shadow of your choice and then position to your liking.

Note : To make this paper layer I scanned some paper onto my computer and to get the glitter affect around the edges of the paper I used the Magic Wand tool and then added a noise effect.

3) Copy and paste the frame layers and position these above the paper layer. These frames have already had a drop shadow added to them so no need to do this.

Note : To make this frame layer I scanned some scrapbooking cardstock that I had onto my computer and then added a buttonize affect to make it look like it had a bevelled look.

4) Copy and paste the flower embellishment of your choice under the frame layers. You should now have something that looks like this :

5) Add any further embellishments that you would like using the scrapkit. I have also added green leaves from one of Lisa's other scrapkits called "Mediterrean" that you are able to download from Lisa's Blog.

YOU WILL NEED:

* I have used the artwork of Moonmomma. Permission to use this artist must be obtained, otherwise you can use another artist of your choice. Moonmomma can be located here :

* Plugin - Mura's Meister - Copies

* Plugin - Penta.com - color dot

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white. Rename this layer - White background.

2) Copy and paste as a new layer your paper from my supplies. Using your deform tool resize this to your liking.

3) Effects - 3D Effects - Dropshadow with the following settings : V2 H2 Opacity 100 Blur 5.00 Colour Black. Duplicate this layer. Rename original layer - main square layer.

4) Highlight copied layer. Effects - Plug Ins - Mura's Meister - Copies with these settings :

Rename this layer - multi layer and drag under main square layer.

5) Move Main square layer in the middle of the duplicated layer or to your liking.

6) Highlight your main square and using your magic wand tool click inside the square - Selections - Modify - Expand 3.

7) Copy and paste the image of your choice as a new layer. Move layer into selected square and when happy with position of your image Selection - Invert - delete. Add drop shadow as before.

8) Copy and paste the ribbon as a new layer - Resize this layer with your deformation tool so it sits across the image in the main square layer. Add same drop shadow as before.

9) Copy and paste the star from my supplies as a new layer - Resize 12% and place in corner on top of ribbon. Add same dropshadow as before.

10) Hide White background layer. Highlight main square layer. Layers - Merge - Merge Visible. Unhide your white background layer.

You should now have something like this :

11) Highlight white background layer. Layers - New Rayster Layer. This layer should now be above your white background layer. Floodfill this layer with a colour from your image.

12) Effects - Plug in - penta.com - color dot with these settings: 9 2 255 255 255 . Position this layer using your deformation tool to your liking.

13) Add your copyright information for the image that you have used. Also add any text that you would like.

14) For those with a working knowledge of Animation shop if you would like to use sparkles etc this would be the time to do this.

YOU WILL NEED:

* Scrap Set - Thank you to Missy from Misfits Scrapz for allowing the use of her "Butterfly Kisses" scrap kit. Missy and Yvette both supply some gorgeous scrap kits free to use from their Misfits Scrapz site which you can find HERE

* Font - I have used Mistral and Coolsville, or you can use a font of your choice.

* Plug In - Penta.com - Colour Dot

* Mask - I have used one that is supplied with Paint Shop Pro 9

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Copy and paste papers of your choice as a new layer. I have used papers supplied by Missy in her "Butterfly Kisses" scrap kit. You should use atleast three different ones. Highlight one of the papers and using your selcection tool mark out a square within the paper so that you are left with a frame. Repeat this process on the second paper colour.

3) Hightlight the third paper colour. On this layer we are going to use your Ellipse tool to mark out a circle. You will need to do this twice so that you end up with not only a circle layer but a circle frame.

This is what you should have by now :

4) Add drop shadows of your choice to each of these layers. Once this is done we are going to use your pen tool to draw outlines on the two squares and the circle layer as shown above. Use different colours on each of these layers so that they are more noticeable. I stuck to the colour theme of green, yellow and pink, but you can use what ever colours you would like.

5) Position your two squares and circle layer to your liking, or you can use my completed tag as a guide.

6) Highlight your white background layer and then add another layer by going to Layers - New Raster Layers. Highlight this layer and floodfill it with a colour of your choice. Use a mask of your choice on this layer. I have used one that is provided with Paint Shop Pro 9. Once this is done you will need to add your plug in to this layer. I have used Penta.com's color dot.

7) Higlight your circle layer. Under this layer we are going to place another circle layer as a background. Using your Ellipse tool, draw out a circle layer under the circle frame. Layers - Convert to raster. Once you have done this add your dragonfly layer over the top of the circle layer.

You should have something like this :

8) Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer. Position this under your top frame layer. Add drop shadow of choice.

9) Once this has been done its time to add the rest of your embellishments. I have added 3 flowers, a ribbon and a tag. I obtained these from Missy's "Butterfly Kisses" scrap kit also. Postion your embellishments to your liking and then add a drop shadow of your choice.

10) Time to add our text. I have used the font Coolsville to add my "Shh!" text and Mistral font to add my name. If you dont have these fonts, use a font of your choice.

11) Last but not least add the artists © to the tag.

For those of you who have a working knowledge of Animation Shop you can animate your tag to your liking. I have added a little butterfly's to my tag as seen below.

* Brushes - I have used various flower and leaf images but you can use a brush/s of your choice.>

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 700 x 500. Flood fill white.

2) Layers. New Raster Layer. Using your Ellipse Tool draw out a circle in the colour of your choice. I have used white. Layers - Convert to Raster. Add a dropshadow of your choice.

3) Draw out another circle layer in another colour. I have used a very light grey shade. Right click on this new circle layer using your mouse and then click on the properties. Your Vector Property box will appear. Using the drop down box change your line style. I have used Dash Dot Dot but you can use one of your choice. Layers - Convert to Raster.

4) Using your Magic wand layer. Click on the inside of the first circle layer. Layers - New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with a colour of your choice. You should now have something like this :

5) Layers - New Raster layer. Move this layer under your first circle layer. Using your Paint Brush tool, add the brush/s of your choice. See image below as a guide.

6) Using your Ellipse tool, draw out a small circle. See image below.

Change the circle layer to the colouring of your choice and then add a dropshadow. Duplicate this layer until you have the amount of circles that you will need to add your name.

7) Now is the time to add any embellishments that you would like to your tag. I have added blings. You'll find these in my supplies. Place these to your liking on the tag.

8) Add your tube of choice. Please make sure that you have received permission to use the artist of choice or purchased their artwork if they are a pay to use artist. Add a dropshadow of choice to this layer.

9) All that is left to do is to add your name to the small circles and to also add the artists © to the tag.

YOU WILL NEED:

* I have used the artwork of Flor Delys. Permission needs to be obtained before using her artwork. You can find her artwork located HERE

* Mask - beckymask023 - Thank you to Becky for allowing the use of her masks.

* Plug In - Texture - Texturizer (can substitute PSP Effects - Texture Effects - Texture - Canvas)

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Layers. New Raster Layer. Select paper of your choice from Scrappydayz supplies and paste as a new layer. Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - beckymask023 - Layers - Merge - Merge Group. Rename this layer - Mask Layer.

3) Copy and paste the circle frame from Scrappydayz supplies as a new layer. Use drop shadow of your choice to this layer. Rename this layer circle frame.

4) Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and place this under the circle frame. If you do not have permission to use Flor Delys artwork please use another artist of choice. Rename this layer tube/image.

5) Using your eraser tool, erase excess tube/image from outside of the Scrappydayz circle frame.

Your image should now look like this :

NB: I have copied the smaller flowers and placed more around the circle frame and then added a drop shadow. This is optional.

6) Add new raster layer. Choose colors from your current image to use for your name plate. Using your Drawing tool, draw out a small rectangle using a line width of 8. Layers - convert to raster layer.

7) Effects - Plug Ins - Texture - Texturiser - Canvas with the following settings.

Add drop shadow of your choice.

8) Copy and paste your circle frame as a new image. I tubed this image so I could re use the red button. Once this is done, add the red button to your tag plate and add a drop shadow of your choice.

9) Add the artists copyright to your tag and any name you would like on your name plate.

To make the writing curved along the circle frame I used another circle layer (in purple) using the draw tool and then added in the © text as below :

YOU WILL NEED:

* Tube of choice. I have used the wonderful artwork of Jonathon Raya. You can see Jonathon's incredible artwork HERE. Please remember to respect the artist that you do use and display their © information.

* Scrap Elements of choice. I would like to thank Monti for the supplies that were used in this tutorial. You can visit Monti's site HERE. I used the cardboard frames, the light and dark texture papers from the Remember kit and the small dogtags from the Military Mini kit. The screw element came from Dozi Baer's site HERE.

* Font Of Choice ~ I used Copperplate Gothic Bold

* Cybia Plugin - Screenworks HERE

* Penta.com Plugin - Colour Dot HERE

* Mask of choice. You can download the one I used HERE

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white. Rename this layer - White Background.

2) Layers. New Raster Layer. Add large Brown cardboard frame and drop shadow of choice. Rename this layer - Cardboard Frame

3) Copy and paste as a new layer, Monti's paper dark text and slide this under the cardboard frame. Resize to your liking. Highlight this layer...

Layers - Load Mask - Mask182 -Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

Effects - PlugIns - Penta.com - Colour Dot with these settings :

Value = 90 - Distance = 2 - Colour R, G and B = 255

Rename this layer - Dark text mask

4) Copy and paste as a new layer. screws supplied onto cardboard frame. X out all layers except for the cardboard frame and the screws.

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible. Rename this layer - Brown frame and screws.

5) Copy and paste as a new layer, Monti's paper light text 1 and slide this under the the dark text mask. Resize to your liking.

Effects - Plugins - Screenworks - Quad Dice. Rename this layer - Screenworks - Quad dice

You should now have something that looks like this :

6) Open up your 3 frame tier supply. Image - Rotate - Free Rotate - Right - 90. Copy and paste this as a new layer into your tutorial and slide this layer under your cardboard frame layer.

7) With the 3 Tier Frame layer highlighted, take your magic wand tool and highlight the top frame in the 3 Tier Frame.

Selections - Modify - Expand - One.

8) Copy and paste as a new layer, one of the Raya tubes and slide this layer under the 3 tier frame layer.

Selections - Invert - hit the delete button.

Repeat step 7 and 8 for the other 2 frames remaining. X out all other layers except for the 3 Tier Frame and the tube images.

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible. Rename this layer - 3 Tier Frame.

You should now have something that looks like this :

9) Copy and paste as a new layer, your main tube. Slide this layer so it is on top of all the other layers. Add a drop shadow of your choice.

Rename this layer - Main Tube

10) Copy and paste as a new layer, the dog tags supplied. Resize to your liking. Adjust - Colour and Saturation - Colourize.

Use the following settings : HUE = 8 - SATURATION = 30

Add a dropshadow of your choice and rename this layer - Dog Tags.

11) Copy and paste as a new layer, a screw to cover over the top of the dog tags as shown here :

Add drop shadow of your choice and rename this layer - Dog Tag Screw

12) Add your © information of the artist that you used. This is also the time to add any text to the tag that you would like.

I used Copperplate Gothic Bold font to add my name to the tag with an orange drop shadow.

* Font - I have used fonts called Mistral, Artistamp and Beansprout DNA, or you can use a font of your choice.

* Mask - I have used one that is supplied with Paint Shop Pro 9

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Copy and paste papers of your choice as a new layer. I have used papers supplied by Christon in her "Hazey Teal" scrap kit. You should use atleast two different ones. Highlight one of the papers and using your selcection tool mark out a square within the paper so that you are left with a frame. Repeat this process on the second paper colour.

3) Hightlight the first paper colour. On this layer we are going to use your Rectangle tool to mark out a square. Change your Line Style to your liking and also colour. I have used Dash Dot Dot line. Layers - Convert to Raster.

This is what you should have by now :

As the image above shows I have angled my second square layer under the first square layer. To do this highlight your bottom square layer and using your Raster Deform Tool move it to your liking.

4) Add drop shadows of your choice to each of these layers.

5) Highlight your bottom square layer and duplicate this. Slide the duplicated layer above your top sqaure layer.

6) Using your Eraser tool, erase the duplicate layer that is covering the first square layer so that it looks as though the frames are intertwined as images below show :

7) Highlight your white background layer. Layers - New Raster Layer. Floodfill this layer with a colour of your choice and add a mask or plugin of your choice to this layer.

8) Add any embellishments to your frames that you wish to. I have used embellishments supplied in Christon's "Hazey Teal" scrap kit.

9) Add your tube of choice to the frame. Please make sure that you have permission to use the artist or you have purchased a license from the artist if they are pay to use. Add a drop shadow of your choice to the tube.

10) Add any words, names and the artists © to your tag.

* Font - I have used Kristin font but you can use a font of your choice.

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Copy and paste your frame layer as a new layer. Add a drop shadow of your choice.

3) Copy and paste tube of choice. If permission has not been obtained from Lyriu then please use another artist that you have obtained permission for. Move this layer under your frame layer. Using your eraser tool erase any of your tube that shows outside your frame layer.

4) Copy and paste your paper from my supplies. Arrange to your liking. Duplicate this layer.

5) Hide your original paper layer and then highlight the duplicate layer. While this layer is highlighted go to Effects - Plugins - Cybia - Screenworks. I used Quad Dice.

6) Position the Quad dice layer to your liking. Using your eraser tool, erase the outside lines from your square box from around your layer. You should have something like this :

7) Unhide your paper layer and position to your liking.

8) Place your doodles to your liking.

We're almost done.....

9) Copy and paste the tag to you liking on the frame. Add a drop shadow of your choice.

10) Find a font to your liking and add name of choice to the tag. Also add your diamonte to the tag placing this within the hole present in the tag. This diamonte is one I had in my bits and pieces and I have included it in my supplies for your use. I have also used a slight glow to the name by using a plugin - Eye Candy 3.1 - Glow. This is optional.

11) All that is left is to add the artists copyright to your completed tag and your done.

3) Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - beckymask023 - Layers - Merge - Merge Group. Position to your liking. Rename this layer - Mask Layer.

4) Copy and paste the frame from Scrappy Expression supplies as a new layer. Use drop shadow of your choice to this layer. Rename this layer - frame.

5) Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and place this under the frame. Rename this layer tube. Position the image to your liking. Add drop shadow of your choice.

6) Copy and paste the stars and the word dream from Scrappy Expression supplies to your liking. Resize and add drop shadow of your choice. Rename this layer - Stars.

7) Add any extras that you wish to use from the Scrappy Expression supplies or any other supplies that you may already have. Be as creative as you like.

8) Finally, add the artists copyright to your tag and any name you would like on your tag. When you have done this add a drop shadow of your choice to your name and then change the blend mode to overlay.

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white. Rename this layer - White background

2) Copy and paste as a new layer, your tube or image of choice. Please make sure when using artwork, that you have obtained permission from the artist to use their work or if they are a pay to use artist, that you have purchased a license to be able to use their artwork.

3) Using your draw tool. Draw a rectangle with the colour of your choice. Layers - Convert to Raster.

4) Using your selction tool, draw a rectangle inside the first rectangle you have done so that you have a border or frame that is over the top of your image or tube.

You should now have a border around your image or tube like this :

5) Block out your white background image. Now merge both your image and border layers together. Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

6) Higlight your merged layer. Effects - 3D Effects - Dropshadow with the following settings :V2 H2 Opacity 100 Blur 5.00 Colour Black. Duplicate this layer. Rename original layer - main square layer.

7) Highlight copied layer. Effects - Plug Ins - Mura's Meister - Copies with these settings :

8) Position your copied layer under your original layer to your liking.

9) Now is the time to add any embellishments to your tag. I have used a bling curve that is in my supplies for you to use and also the deeply loved srap papers. With the scrap papers I coloured them to match my tag, this is optional. If your wanting to do the same go to Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize. I have also used a flower embellishment made by Scrappy Expressions.

10) Now all that is left to do is to add your name and the artists copyright.

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white. Rename this layer - White background

2) Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer. Using your rectangle tool, draw out a square around your tube. You should have something like this :

3) Effects - 3D Effects - Dropshadow with the following settings : V2 H2 Opacity 100 Blur 5.00 Colour Black. Duplicate this layer. Rename original layer - main square layer.

4) Highlight copied layer. Effects - Plug Ins - Mura's Meister - Copies with these settings :

Rename this layer - multi layer and drag under main square layer.

5) This next step is optional. Copy and paste your tube layer and move this layer above all other layers. Note : This tube layer will have no frame. Add dropshadow of choice.

6) Highlight your white background layer. Layers - New Raster Layer. Highlight this new layer and floodfill this layer with a colour of your choice.

7) Add a mask or plugin of your choice to the floodfilled layer.

8) Using your Symmetric shape tool, draw out a small star. Right click on the star using your mouse and then click on the properties option. This will then bring up your Vector property box. Change the colour of the star to your liking. I have used two different colours. You should have something like this :

Add a drop shadow of your choice. Duplicate this layer as many times as you wish and scatter the stars around your tag.

9) Now all that is left is to add the artists © and your name to the tag.

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Copy and paste frame of your choice. Position to your liking and add drop shadow of your choice.

3) Layers. New Raster Layer. Select paper of your choice and paste as a new layer. Then select - Effects - plugins - Filters Unlimited - Special Effects 2 - Border White Fade. 4) Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Position this under your frame layer but above your paper layer.

5) Add any embellishments to your frame. I have added the red flower, tag and the metal tags as new layers and then resized to my liking. Also add a drop shadow of your choice to these layers.

6) Using your preferred font add your name to the tag and use a drop shadow of your choice.

7) All that is left to do now is to add the artists copyright.

Being Naughty Is All I Know

YOU WILL NEED:

* Font of choice - I used Angelina and Copperplate Gothic Light

* Supplies HERE

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Layers. New Raster Layer. Using your preset shape rectangle, background black. Draw out a square. Convert to raster Layer.Add drop shadow of your choice. Use original image above as guideline.

3) Using your selection tool, draw a rectangle inside the black square. Use original image above as a guide. Make sure that your Black rectangle layer is highlighted. Selections and then delete. You should now have something that looks like this,

4) Layers - New Raster Layer. Using your pen tool. Draw out a white grid across your black frame using line width of 2.

5) Layers - New Raster Layer. Floodfill your inner black frame with a fading white gradient. Layers - Load Mask - Becky_Mask042 - Layers - Merge - Merge group. You should now have something that looks like this,

6) Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer. I resized my tube to 120 to make it appear bigger in the box. Drag the image under Your black rectangle. Make sure your tube layer is highlighted. Selections - Invert and then delete. Add drop shadow of your choice to your tube.

7) Copy and paste your tube layer at original size as a new layer. Move this layer above all the rest of your layers so that tube is positioned in front of black rectangle. Add drop shadow of your choice.

8) Add wording inside black rectangle. I used Copperplate Gothic Light font for this in black, you can use a font of your choice if you wish to. You can use the wording that I have used or your own.

"Being an angel has its perks but, being naughty is even better!!"

Position text where you would like it to be. Add white dropshadow of your choice.

9) Next add your text along the bottom of the black rectangle, using font of your choice. I used Angelina font in white.

"Being naughty is all I know"

Position text where you would like it to be. Add black dropshadow of your choice.

10) Add your copyright to your tag. You should now have something that looks like this,

Now its time to animate our image...

1) While in PSP - x out your tube layer in front of the black rectangle.

2) Edit - Copy Merged.

3) Open up your Animation Shop.

4) Edit - Paste - As New Animation.

5) Edit - Duplicate Selected. Do this so that you now have 7 images.

6) Find your ani star and open this as a new animation.

7) With your ani star image open.... Edit - Select All - Copy.

8) Open up your tutorial image. Edit - Select All - Paste - Into Selected Frame. Position ani star down the side of your frame on both side. You will have to do this twice on both sides.

9) Open up your ani star image again. This should still have all frames selected. Animation - Rotate - Right 90. Edit - Copy.

10) Go back to your tutorial image and Edit - Paste - Into Selected Frame. Position ani star along the top of your frame. Repeat this step until ani star is right along the top of your frame.

11) At this time if you want to resize your image. Edit - Select All - Animation - Resize Animation. I resized my images to 450.

12) Go back to your Paint Shop Pro and x out all layers except for your main tube that is infront of your black rectangle. Edit - Copy Merged.

13) Go back to your Animation Shop. Edit - Paste - As New Animation. Duplicate this 7 times as you before. Also resize these images if you resized your tutorial previously.

14) Edit - Copy.

15) Open up your original tube layer that you animated with ani star.... make sure that all frames are selected....Edit - Paste - Into Selected Frame.

16) View - Animation.

When you're happy with it, save it using the optimization wizard & save as a .gif.

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Layers. New Raster Layer. Select colour of your choice and flood fill this layer. Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - dmsk0711 - Layers - Merge - Merge Group. Rename this layer - Mask Layer. Effects - Penta.com - Colour Dot with the following settings : 90 2 255 255 255

3) Copy and paste the circle frames as a new layer. Take your eraser tool and erase the 5th cicle, we wont be needing this.

4) Using your magic wand tool. Click inside one of the circles. Selections - Modify - Expand - 3.

5) Copy and paste one of your tubes as a new layer and place this under the circle frames. Selections - Invert - delete. Repeat step 4 and 5 until you have images in all 4 circles.

NB: I lightened some of the tubes I used as some are darker then others. I did this by going - Adjust - Colour Balance - Fade Correction.

6) Merge your tube images with the circle frames and rename this layer - Circle Frame. Add drop shadow of your choice.

7) Copy and paste your flower accent as a new layer and resize to your liking. Place this under the first circle at the top. I took off the square edges by using my eraser tool. Add drop shadow of your choice. Rename this layer Flower.

8) Copy and paste your Doodles and slide this layer above your mask layer. You should now have something like this :

9) Copy and paste your main tube. Position it where you would like. Add drop shadow of your choice.

10) Add the artists copyright to your tag and any other added text that you would like.

11) If you would like to add animation to your tag now is the time to do this.

Wild Thing

YOU WILL NEED

* Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop or similar. I used PSP XII but you should be able to make this tag in earlier versions.

*You will need a tube of choice. I chose the wonderful work of Marjolein Gulinski.

*Mask of choice. I used a mask from Here. tp_mask 7.

*Scrap Kit Vintage Rose by Farrah.

*Kit supplied (with permission) Here

LETS START!

1. Open all your supplies in PSP. Open your font (by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer) and minimise to use later.

2. Open a new image 500 x 500 with a white background.

3. Add a new raster layer. Activate your Flood Fill Tool. In your colour palette change your Foreground colour to Pattern. Select the patterned paper from the scrap kit or a colour that blends with your tube.

4. Go to Layers - New Mask Layer - from Image - select the mask of your choice with the settings as shown in the image below.

Your image should look something like this.

5. Select the element of choice. I selected the Vintage Rose Doodle. Copy and paste as a new layer. Close the original image.
Right mouse click on the layer with the frame and duplicate. Now go to Image - Flip - Image - Mirror.

Your image should now look like this.

6. Select your tool selection set to Rectangle with the foreground selection as a darker shade from your tube and the background set
to the paper pattern you previously used for the mask layer or a contrasting shade. Draw out the rectangle for about half of the image size.
Once this is done, convert this layer to a raster layer.

7. Now with the rectangle tool, draw out a smaller rectangle above the larger rectangle. As shown below.

8. Copy this layer and then go to Image - Flip. Position the layer to just below the bottom of the middle rectangle as shown below.

9. Place your tube on the tag and add embelishments as you desire. See the finished tag at the beginning of the tutorial. Hide the embelishments and the image. Go to Edit - Copy Merged.

10. Now go to Animation shop. Now go to Edit - Paste as a New Animation. Now you will need to duplicate this layer to be the same as the animation. Edit - Propagate Paste - Next go to Edit - Duplicate Selected. Do this till you have the same amount of images as there is in the animated tiles. Now go to Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy. Now go to your tag and do the same. Edit - Select All. Now go Edit - Paste - Into Selected Frame. Place where you want on the tag. When you are finished, save this as a gif image.

11. Go back to PSP and unhide the embellishments and the tube. Now you will need to hide the background layer and the doodles and rectangle layers.

12. Go to Edit - Copy Merged and then go to Animation Shop select the tag. Edit - Select All. Edit - Paste into Selection.
Place this layer as you would like them.

Now save your tag.

13. Go back to PSP and put your © information on the tag and add your name.

14. Follow the previous steps to add this information to your animated tag.

Save your tag and you are finished.

Sugar and Spice

Scrapkit was supplied by Scrappy Expressions. Thank you Melissa for your wonderful kit.

Font of choice - I used ‘Dukeplus’ (Included in my supplies)

Remember to save often

1) Open a new transparent image - size 400 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Copy and past the doodles onto your background and resize, (I resized mine about 75%)

3) Copy your frame to the workspace and resize to about 75%.

4) Select your frame and apply drop shadow - go to Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow – V & H set to 0, Opacitiy is 100 and Blur set to 5.

5) Open your image you are going to use and apply the same drop shadow as the frame. I resized the image by 75% and then erased the rest of the image that didn’t fit into the frame with the eraser tool.

6) At this stage make sure that you select the layer below the image.

7) Select your Rectangle tool, making the background of the rectangle the pattern you are going to use as the background behind your image.

8) I then drew a rectangle just a little larger than the inside of the frame using the SE_Gingerbread Paper 1 as the background. Once you are happy with the size of the rectangle convert to raster.

9) Hide your image so that you can see the workspace completely without the image hampering your view.

10) Once you are happy with the way the background is sitting. Unhide your image again so that you get the full picture.

11) Add your embellishments applying the same drop shadow to them.

12) Now add the © Copyright information and add your name to your tag. You are finished.

Here is another example of the same tag but with different elements.

Sex Kitten

YOU WILL NEED:

* Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop or similar. I used PSPXII but you should be able to make this tag in earlier versions.

* Tube of choice. I am using the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis. You can find his work HERE

* Doodle of choice. I am using one from Sentimental Style. Please check out her blog HERE

* Font of choice - I used Toledo which is a Pay to use font, you can purchase it HERE

* Filters used were Xero Fritillary & Eyecandy Gradient Glow (can substitute with a white drop shadow).

* I made the frame myself so you can either make one yourself or you can use one from a scrap kit you have. Preset Shape was supplied by PSP.

LETS START!

1. Open your tube and scrap supplies in PSP. Open your font (by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer) and minimise to use later.

2. Open a new image 400 x 400 with a white background.

3. Add a new raster layer. Activate your Image with the Doodle and copy and paste to your tag and resize to about 75% and position where you would like it.

4. Select your Selection Tool and set to Preset Shape. Select the flower 5 shape you saved from the supplies. Once you have drawn out the shape. Open this layer up in the palette layer and change the colour of the shape. Foreground set at null and background set with a colour that will contrast with your tube. I used #bfd1f8. Okay these changes and now right click on the layers palette and convert to Raster Layer.

5. Postition where you would like it and then duplicate this layer two times until you have three shapes in your layers Palette.

6. Now go to Effects - Plugins - Xero - Fritillary. Using the settings below for the first layer.

7. Hide the first layer and then select the second layer and go to Effects - Plugins - Xero - Fritillary.

8. Hide the second layer and then select the third layer and apply the following settings.

9. Now hide the third layer and unhide the first layer. Here is what you should have so far.

10. You will want to add your tube, frame and embellishments as desired.

11. Once the name is on your tag. Right mouse click on the layer and convert to Raster layer. Go to Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy - Gradient Glow and apply settings set out below.

12. Now add the copyright information. Now go to Edit - Copy Merged.

13. Open up Animation Shop and go to Edit - Paste - Paste as new animation.

14. Go back to Paint Shop Pro and hide the first layer of the shape and unhide the second layer. Go to Edit - Copy Merged.

15. Go to Animation Shop and go to Edit - Paste - After Current Frame. Do the same for the third layer.

Save your tag as a gif and you are finished.

LETS START!

1. Open your tube and scrap kit in PSP. Open your font (by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer) and minimise to use later.

2. Open a new image 500 x 425 with a white background.

3. Add a new raster layer. Use a colour that will contrast with your tube and flood fill this layer.

4. Now go to Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image. Select your mask from the drop down list - Invert mask unticked - Source luminance selected. When it is how you want it, merge the group in your layers palette by right clicking on the mask layer and select Merge - Merge Group.

5. Select your preset shape tool and set to rectangle. Foreground colour set at white with the line width set at 1 with the background colour set at the same as the mask layer, I used a paper pattern 01 as the background to my rectangles. Draw out a rectangle for your tag and once it is the size you want convert to raster layer. Now duplicate this layer until you have 3 shapes.

6. Position where you want them to be. Now select the rectangle with your magic wand tool and position your tube where you want it to be. Select the tube layer in the layers palette and then go to Selections - Invert - Hit the delete button and this should just leave the tube in the selected area. Ruduce the opacity to 50% on the tube layer. Go to Selections and Select None. Do this to each of the rectangle layers.

7. Activate your frame image and copy and paste to your tag image. I used Frame2. Close the original image. Position on the tag where you would like it to be.

8. Select your Preset Shape tool again but in the Circle. With the forground set to white and the line width set to 7 and the background set to the patterned paper. I used paper pattern 01. Draw out the circle so that it still shows the white in the middle of the frame. Position this layer below the frame layer as shown below.

9. Now position the elements on your tag from your scrap kit and then add your tube to the tag as the top layer and apply drop shadow to the tube. I used V= 2, H= -2 O=70 Blur 2 colour black.

10. Add your ©Information and then add your name to the tag. Apply the Gradient glow to your name and then apply drop shadow as above.

11. Save your tag and you are now finished.

Puppy Love

YOU WILL NEED:

* Paint Shop Pro. I used PSPXII but you should be able to make this tag in earlier versions.

* Tube of choice. I am using the artwork of Suzanne Woolcott. You will need a licence for her artwork which can be purchased from HERE

* Scrap Kit by Passionate-Scraps. Thank you Mandy for allowing me to use your fabulous kit Puppy Love.

* Font of choice - I used Impact and Pristina

LETS START!

Open your scrap kit up and select the ellements you wish to use and open them up in psp and minimise. Select your papers from the scrap kit and minimise. Open the preset shape provided and minimise.

1. Start off with a blank canvas of 500 x 500 flood fill with white

2. On your blank canvas. Place your flower element in the centre of the canvas. Reduce the size of the flower, I reduced by 40%.

3. Go to Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meisters - Copies - Circle. See settings below.

4. Next Maximise your preset shape. Copy the shape of choice and paste as a new layer in your canvas. Close your original image.

5. Using your magic wand tool, Select the preset shape till you have marching ants around the edges

6. In the layers palette, duplicate the preset shape. Select the top shape and apply a colour that will compliment the colour scheme you have used. Floodfill the layer with this colour and while still selected. Select the next layer in the palette. In your materials palette, select the background colour of choice. I selected paper pattern 6 from my kit and set the properties as shown below.

7. Now select the top layer again and go to Selections - Modify - Contract - Contract by 2 pixels then hit delete. Now go to Selections - Select None. This is what you should have in your layers palette so far.

8. Activate your ribbon image and copy and paste to your image. Close the original copy. Resize this layer to fit the frame. I resized by 60%. Position where you like on the frame layer.

9. Select your magic wand tool and select the top layer of the frame outline. Ensure the marching ants are on the outside of the frame layer (see below).

10. Select the ribbon layer in the layer palette and then go to Selections - Invert. Hit the delet button. This should get rid of any excess ribbon outside of the frame. Go to Selections - Select None.

11. Now select your circle tool and draw out a circle to fit inside your framed layer. Make sure it is slightly larger than the inside of this frame. Now position this layer below the frame.

12. Select your tube and copy and paste onto the image. Resize to fit the frame. I reduced my tube by 65%. Position where you like it and apply drop shadow. Go to Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow (see below)

13. Select the flower layer in the layers palette and right mouse click and duplicate. Select the bottom layer and go to Image - Resize - by 90%. Then go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - by Radius 25.00 (see below).

14. Add your elements of choice on your tag. Apply drop shadow as above and Then apply your word art as desired.

15. Add your © Information and then your name and save your tag as a jpg. You are finished.

Pirates Alive

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

YOU WILL NEED:

* Paint Shop Pro. I used PSPXII but you should be able to make this tag in earlier versions.

* Tubes of choice. I am using the artwork of Keith Garvey. You can get it at My PSP Tubes.

* Scrap Kit by the talented Yarrow. Thank you Yarrow for allowing me to use your great Kit. You can purchase this beautiful kit A Pirates Life Here.

* Font of choice - I used Monotype Corsiva. This is one of the Windows fonts so you should have it. If not you can purchase it Here.

LETS START!

1. Open your tubes and scrap kit in PSP. Open your font (by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer) and minimise to use later.

2. Open a new image 500 x 500 with a white background.

3. Activate your selection tool and click on the square preset shape. Make sure your Foreground is set to Null and the Background is set to a contrasting colour to your tube. I used #C6B190. Draw out the size you want.

4. Now go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur and have the Radius settings at 25.00 and then click OK.

5. Open the Frame from your scrap kit and copy and paste to your image. Resize if needed. I resized mine by 85%.

6. Select your Magic Wand Tool and make sure your frame layer is selected, click on the inside of the frame. Now go to Selections - Modify - Expand - No of Pixels 3.

7. Select your tube you want to use for the centre of the frame and copy and paste as a new layer. Position where you want it to be in the middle of the frame. Now go to Selections - Invert and then hit your delete key. This will remove any excess image that was outside of the frame. Add a drop shadow to your tube. Go to Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow. V= -2 & H= 2, O= 80 & Blur=2 colour Black.
Now position your tube below the Frame layer in your layers palette.

8. Postition your elements where you want them to be. Add your second tube and then add the © Information on your tag. I used Pixelette font Anti Alias off and size 8.

9. Add your name in your font of choice or the Monotype Corsiva which I used. Anti Alias set at Sharp and size 48 Pixels.

10. Save your tag as a .jpg and you are finished.

Pretty In Pink

Supplies Needed

Fonts of choice - I used Regular you can find it here

I also used Pristina (this is a paid for font)

Tube of choice
I used the lovely artwork of © Oren Kramek which you can purchase from MPT

Remember to save often

1. Open up an image with transparent background flood fill with white.

2. Open up the mask supplied and minimise.

3. Create a new raster layer and flood fill with a background colour
to match your tube. I used #a57799 now go to layers, new mask layer, from image and
select the mask, (I used) tp_edge15 from the drop down list. Tick the box to source luminance and invert mask data. In your layers palette delete the mask layer and merge group.

4. Using two colours from your tube, set your foreground colour to another
dark shade on your tube and the background to a lighter shade in your tube.

5. Now select your circle shape and with the line width set to 3 and line style as solid draw out your circle so that it covers a good portion of the tag.

6. Select your tube you are going to use for the tag and go to >Image - Resize - Increase the size so that the image will not be distorted but large enough to fill the circle. I enlarged my image in the second image by 150%.

7. Select your magic tool and select the circle. Go to your tube and copy the tube and paste as a new layer on your tag. Make sure that your tube layer is still active.

8. Go so selections - select Invert then hit your delete button.
Now reduce the opacity of the image.

9. Hide all the other layers in your layer palette other than the circle and the image and then go to Layers - Merge - Visible.

10. Select a dark colour from your tube and type in the lyrics from a song you like. I chose the lyrics from Mary J Blige. Using a font of your choice. I used Pristina font set at size 14.

11. Resize your tube to fit onto your tag and place where you would like it.
I resized mine by 85%. Apply drop shadow to the image. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow - V3 & H-3 - O50 & Blur 8. Make sure that shadow on new layer is unticked.

12. Now add your © copyright information and your name I used Regular font size 48 for my name, using the dark colour for the background colour and contrasting colour for the stroke width set at 2. Apply the same drop shadow to your name. Go to Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten) and save as a jpg image.

You are finished.

Open Hearted

YOU WILL NEED:

* Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop or similar. I used PSPXII but you should be able to make this tag in earlier versions.

* Tube of choice. I am using the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis. You can find his work HERE

* Flower, Ribbon and Frame of choice

* Font of choice - I used PeregroyJF which you can download it HERE

* Filters used were Xero Fritillary, MuRas Copies & Eyecandy Gradient Glow (can substitute with a white drop shadow).

* Mask of choice.

LETS START!

1. Open your tube and scrap supplies in PSP. Open your font (by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer) and minimise to use later.

2. Open a new image 400 x 400 with a white background.

3. Add a new raster layer. Flood Fill with a contrasting colour in your tube. I chose #eea8b3.

4. To apply your Mask of choice go to Layers - Load/Save Mask - Load Mask from Disk - Select your mask from the drop down list - Load. Right mouse click on the layers palette and Merge Group.

5. Copy and paste the flower of choice and place in the centre of the tag. Go to Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Copies.

This is what you will now have on your layer.

6. Open your original frame and copy your frame and paste into your workspace. Close your original frame.

7. Go to your colour palette and select a darker contrasting colour from your tube and then select your rectangle shape and draw out a shape so that it sits just behind the frame layer. Move below the frame and convert to a raster layer. Duplicate this layer two times so that you have three layers.

8. Select the first layer and then go Effects - Plugins - Xero - Fritillary. Using the settings below for the first layer.

9. Hide the first layer and then select the second layer and go to Effects - Plugins - Xero - Fritillary.

10. Hide the second layer and then select the third layer and apply the following settings.

11. Now hide the third layer and unhide the first layer. Here is what you should have so far.

12. Activate your tube and copy and paste into the tag. Close your original image. Now move your image below the frame but above the background shape you have created.

13. Select your magic wand tool and select the frame layer and click in the middle of the frame. Go to Selections - Modify - Expand - Expand by 10 pixels.

14. Select your tube layer and then go to Selections - Invert - Then hit your delete key which will remove any extra parts of the tube you dont want. Move the tube layer below the frame.

This is what you should now have.

15. Add any embelishments that you desire onto the tag.

16. Now put your name on the tag. Once the name is on your tag. Right mouse click on the layer and convert to Raster layer. Go to Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy - Gradient Glow and apply settings set out below.

17. Now add the copyright information. Now go to Edit - Copy Merged.

18. Open up Animation Shop and go to Edit - Paste - Paste as new animation.

19. Go back to Paint Shop Pro and hide the first layer of the shape and unhide the second layer. Go to Edit - Copy Merged.

20. Go to Animation Shop and go to Edit - Paste - After Current Frame. Do the same for the third layer.

Save your tag as a gif and you are finished.

Fly Girl

Select your tube, I chose the wonderful artwork from Elias Chatzoudis found My PSP Tubes

Scrap Kit called My Fantasy Scrap Kit from Passionate Scraps. Thanks to Mandy.

I used a mask from Candy's Treats for this tutorial found Here

Filters Used Eye Candy 5 Impact: Gradient Glow
Font of choice. I used Saginaw and Pixelette.

Lets Begin

1. Start by opening up a blank tag 500 x 500 and then flood fill with white. Open your scrap supplies you plan to use for your tag and minimise.

2. Go to Layers - New Raster Layer - Flood fill with a contrasting colour from your tube. Open up your Mask layer and go to Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image -
Select the Mask from the drop down list. Ensure that Invert Mask Data is selected as shown below.

3. On the Layers panel right mouse click on the mask layer and select Merge - Merge Group.

4. Open the tube you plan to use and reduce to size. I reduced mine by 85%. Minimise tube and we will come back to it later.

5. Open your doodles and copy and paste to your tag. Reduce to fit if needed. Place them where you think they will be of the most effect.
Add a drop shadow. O = 3 and H = -3, Opacity 60 and Blur 2 Colour Black.

6. Open your frame you will be using and copy and paste to your image. Resize if needed. Add drop shadow same settings as the doodles.

7. Select a paper from your scrap kit to match the tube or use a contrasting colour and select the circle preset shape. Make sure that the circle is just a little bit bigger than the centre of the frame. Right mouse click on the circle layer and convert to layer. I then wrote the words Fly Girl and duplicated and positioned where I wanted it to show on my paper. Merge your multiple layers so that you only have the one layer showing with the words. Now move these layers below the frame.

8. Open your tube and place between the scrap circle and the frame. Add a drop shadow to the tube as used above.

9. Add your embellishments to the tag as you desire. Adding drop shadow for effect.

10. Add your copyright information to the tag. I used Pixelette font for this. Size 8 Anti Alias off.

11. Now add your name. I set my font size to 72 anti alias Sharp with stroke width at 1.00.
Set your forground colour to a dark shade in your tag and the background colour for a lighter colour used in your tag.

12. Write your name and position where you want it on your tag.
Right mouse click on the layer with your name and convert to raster layer.

13. Next go to your Effects - Plugins - Eyecandy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow - Select the settings as shown below and then select OK.

14. Apply the same settings for the drop shadow to the name.

15. Now go to Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten)
Save as a JPG image.

You are finished.

Font of Choice, I used 2 different fonts.

Filter Used - EyeCandy 4000 Gradient Glow.

Remember to save often

Lets begin

Open a new image with a transparent background and flood fill with white.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer> Okay

flood fill this with a darker colour found in your tubes

Now go to Layers> New Mask Layer> From Image> In the Source window select the Mask you have chosen.

Make sure you have selected Source Luminance and Invert mask data is ticked, then click OK.

Now go to your Layers> Merge> Merge Group.

Using your Freehand Selection Tool, set the mode to Freehand> Mode Replace,

Feather set to 0 and Smoothing to 0 with Anti Alias ticked.

Select the inside of the first box and once this is done, paste your tube into this selection, making sure it is where you would like it. Now with the area still selected, highlight the tube in your layers palette and then go to Selections> Invert> Hit your delete key and this should remove any parts of the tube that are outside of the box.Do the same for the other three boxes in the mask layer.Once all your tubes are in place. Merge the three tube layers together and reduce the opacity to 50%.Hide all the other layers other than the Mask layer and go to Layers> Merge> Merge Visible. Unhide the background again.

Copy and paste your other tube or if you choose to use the same tube again to the top of the tag.

Apply a Drop shadow to the tube as shown below.

Using your Font of Choice, Write the word Cheeky and position on the tag.

Once you have the word right. Convert to Raster layer then go to Effects

Plugins> Choose EyeCandy 4000> Gradient Glow

Select Glow Width set at 6

Soft Corners 25, Overall Opacity 100, Colour White

Then apply the same drop shadow to the writing.

Next put the © Information on the tag and your name.

LETS START!

1. Open your tube and scrap kit in PSP. Open your font (by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer) and minimise to use later.

2. Open a new image 500 x 400 with a white background.

3. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill with a colour that will compliment your tube. Now go to Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Select the Mask from the drop down menu.

Now merge the mask layer. Right mouse click on the mask layer. Select Merge - Merge Group.

4. Activate your frame and copy and paste as a new layer above your mask layer. Close your original frame image. Go to Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow - Apply the following drop shadow to your frame. I used V=2, H=-2, O=70, Blur=2.00 Colour Black. and then V= -2, H=2, O=70, Blur=2.00 Colour Black.

5. Now Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer on your tag. Apply a drop shadow of V=2, H=-2, O=70, Blur=2.00 Colour Black.

6. Select your eraser tool and remove any of the tube that you do not want to show outside of the frame.

7. Add your elements to your tag as desired. I used the Beaded swirl as the background element.

8. Add your © information to your tag and add your name to your tag.

9. Now go to Edit - copy merged. Now open Animation Shop and go to Edit - Paste - As New Animation.

10. In Animation shop, ensure that the Propagate Paste is selected in the tool bar.

11. Now go to Edit - Duplicate Selected until you have 15 frames.

12. Open your animations that you want to add to your tag.

13. Go to Edit - Select All - Edit - Copy

14. Now select your tag you want to apply the animations to. Go Edit - Select all - Edit - Paste - Into selected Frame. Paste your animation where you would like it on your tag.

15. Now save your tag and you are finished.

Viva Mexico

YOU WILL NEED

* A font of choice

* Eyecandy 4000

* Viva tube by Popeye Wong HERE. Click on picture to download tube.

* Cactus animation of choice. If you google cactus animation you should find something you can use.

* MuRas Perspective Tiling Filter HERE.
MuRa TOU - This filter collection is Freeware. You can use them freely and distribute them without modifying. But it is forbidden to sell them without permission of the author.

* Background made by me in PSPX HERE

LET'S BEGIN!

1. Open a blank canvas 500 x 500 and fill with white.

2. Copy and paste your background as a new layer. Select your selection rectangle tool and make a selection like this...

3. Add a new raster layer and fill your selection with a green shade, I used #3a963a. Repeat the step again but this time fill with white. Repeat again and this time fill with a red colour I used #c5221f. Deselect and rearrange your colours so they resemble something like this...

4. When you are happy with your placement of your colour strips, merge the 3 colours together.

5. Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and floodfill with black. Set your preset shape tool to Heart 1 that came with PSP and with the foreground on the materials palette closed and the background white, draw out a heart 230 x 230 pixels. Make sure your cursor is in the top left corner of your canvas with x and y on 0. Convert to raster. Cut and paste the heart layer to centre it on your canvas. Apply MuRas Perpective Tiling filter at the settings below. Merge the layers and save as a jpeg. Load this to your PSP Masks folder (call it vivaheartsmask or something similar).

6. Apply the mask to the coloured strip layer on your original canvas with these values and merge group.

7.On the same layer add a grad glow with the Fat preset white with these settings

8.Select your rectangle selection tool again and draw a rectangle around your mask layer like this

9. Add a new raster layer and take this layer Below your mask layer and fill your selection with Black.Deselect and repeat the Gradient glow settings again and add a drop shadow to the layer, I used 0,0,40,5.00 Black.

10. Now add your tube, I mirrored mine, position and add a drop shadow to it...Resize if needed. Select your Font, I used 2 Peas Airplanes with 2 stroke FG black and alternated the colours of green, white and red as we had used before to resemble the colours of the mexican flag. I also added the gradient glow to the text layers and the same drop shadow too.

11. Resize and crop your tag, add the copyright and your watermark...X out your tube and text layers,Merge your backgrounds visible and take it to animation shop.

12. Open your Fleurs.gif and duplicate your tag so there is 4 frames. Select all, copy and paste your animation into your frames of your tag.Change the speed of the frames to 15.

13. Go back to PSP and merge the tube and text layers and take them to animation shop, duplicate so you have 4 frames and copy and paste into your tag...View your animation, if you are happy with it save it as a .gif

SUPPLIES

LET'S BEGIN!
1. Open a blank canvas 700 x 550 and fill with white, we will resize later.

2. Add a new raster layer and fill the layer with #182331, open your mask and apply to the layer with these properties...Then merge group.

3.Resize your mask layer 85% Bicubic, make sure resize all layers is NOT checked.

4.Add another raster layer and fill with colour #a3ceca and add the same mask again to this layer same as before, merge group and resize this layer by 75% and move into desired position (See my tag above for reference). This is optional, I added Greg's Factory Output Volume II - Pool Shadow to my Green mask layer with these values...Drop opacity of the layer to 67%.

5.This is what you should have so far -

6.Now select the images your are going to use and copy and paste your main tube and position in the centre of the tag, See mine for reference.I resized my tube 75% and added a drop shadow 1,1,40,5.00 Black. Repeat with the other side images same drop shadow but I resized my tubes by 65%.

7.Now select your font, I used Battlefield Font size 45 and with 2 stroke FG with colour #95abc0 and #182331 BG. Adjust the nodules of your text to the size you want and when you are happy convert to raster.

8.On your text layer select, Alien Skin Eyecandy 5 - Impact, Extrude with these settings..Solid colour I used was #00c8c8.

9.Add the same drop shadow to your text layer, resize your tag to your liking. Add your Copyright and watermark to your tag, merge visible and save as a .png

YOU WILL NEED

* Tube of choice

* Two font's of choice

* Flower accent of choice

* The Mask I'm using is by Gabee, you can find her fabulous masks HERE

SUPPLIES

LET'S BEGIN!
1. Open a blank canvas 500 x 500 and fill with white.

2. Add a new raster layer and fill the layer with #000000, open your mask and apply to the layer with these properties...Then merge group.

3.Resize your mask layer 85% Bicubic, make sure resize all layers is NOT checked.

4.Add another raster layer and copy your IMAGE not the tube and paste as a new layer.Add your mask again to your image layer, same as before and this time resize the layer by 95%.

5.Select your lasso tool to freehand and lasso the cat on your tube layer, copy then paste and position over the first cat...Resize as needed.

6.Open your Rose tube from your supplies, copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 45% Smart size, duplicate layer and mirror...Position so the first buds join, see my tag for reference. When you are happy with the positioning of the rose, merge down and duplicate layer again, image - flip and place over the top of the tag...See my tag again for placement.Add a drop shadow to the rose layers 1,1,30,5.00 Black.

7.Select your selection tool on Round Rectangle setting and draw a rectangle on the bottom of your tag, I made a gradient FG-#38424b, BG-#7c8a94 with these settings..And fill your selection on a new raster layer keep selected. Expand your selection by 4 pixels, add another raster layer and drag it BELOW your previous layer and fill with Black #000000, deselect and merge the 2 layers down.

8.Select your preset shape on Elipse and draw an oval shape to match the shape on the mask, 4 width any colour and keep the layer as a vector.Add a new Vector layer and select your font and your wording to suit, I used Kristen ITC font size 26 colour #adb4ba and added a drop shadow 1,1,40,5.00 Black. For my wordings I used 3 separate vector layers and mirrored my vector oval shape so that the words were positioned around it. You can now "X" out your vector oval shape or delete the layer.

9.Next select another font same colour as before...I used Morpheus font size 40 and stretched it to fit on the rectangle layer, when you are happy with it convert it to raster and add the same drop shadow as before.

10.Position everything until you are happy with it and resize if you wish. Add your Copyright and watermarks and merge visible...Copy and paste as a new animation in Animation shop.

11.Open your starani.gif in animation shop, duplicate your tag so there are 7 frames to match the animation. Select all of the animation and copy and paste into your tag frames, I placed the animation twice on my tag. View the animation, if you are happy with it save it as a .gif

You will need

*An image of choice. I am using the art of Suzanne Woolcott, you can purchase her images from HERE

*2 Fonts of choice

*Eyecandy 4000, VM Distortion and DSB Flux (Optional)

Let's Start!

1. Open a blank canvas 500 x 500 and flood fill white.

2. Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize your image to suit. Add this drop shadow V-2, H-2, Opacity 40, Blur 5.00, colour Black.

3. Next use the Preset shape tool set on Elipse, stroke set to 4. Foreground to a dark shade of your tube and fill on a pattern or colour of choice.

4. Draw your shape to suit the size of your tube (See my tag for reference). With your vector layer adjust the size of your circle to suit your tube. Move this layer below your tube layer and leave as a vector (For now).

5. Layers new vector layer, select your text tool and font of choice. I am using Chicken Basket size 42 Colour White #ffffff. Put your cursor on the elipse vector shape until you see the moon cresent shape under your text cursor and type out your text. When you are happy with it convert it to a raster and add this drop shadow to it V-0, H-0, Opacity-60, Blur-5.00 Black. Image resize your text layer 104 percent (All layers NOT checked).

6. On your circle preset shape layer, convert it to raster and apply Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow settings - Glow width 3.00, Soft corners 0, Opacity 100, Colour - Fat white *See diagrams below*. Give this layer the same drop shadow as we used above.

7. X out your white background layer and merge the layers visable. Image resize (All layers NOT checked) I did mine by 75%.

8. Duplicate merged layer and on your original layer Adjust-Blur-Guassian Blur with a radius of 10.00. Then apply VM Distortion-Kaleidoscope with these settings.Lower opacity of the layer to 79.

9. Position in place so it sits nicely behind your text layer.

10. Select the text tool again and another chucky type font, I'm using RedFive #000000 foregound stroke 1 and fill #fabc60.
Type your name and adjust to fit, convert the layer to a raster. Arrange layer to top.

11. *Optional* Select your magic wand tool, set it to tolerance 20 feather 0 and click inside each of the letters apply DSB flux - Bright noise mix 25 and click ok...Select none. Apply Eyecandy Gradient glow (Same settings as before) to the text and apply the same drop shadow we used before.

12. Now you can add any embellishments you want to your tag. Add the artist's Copyright and crop your tag and save as a .jpg and your done.

LET'S BEGIN!

1. Open a blank canvas 550 x 550 and fill with white.

2. Open your Flowerframe from your supplies and copy your mainframe layer onto your canvas, resize 80% and position as shown in my tag. This tut is written as if you are using the same frame I am. If you use a different frame, you will have to adjust your tag accordingly.

3. Copy the Top flower frame layer onto your canvas and resize the same as before, add this drop shadow 1,1,30,5.00 black and position onto your mainframe layer.

4. Select your magic wand with a tolerance of 20 and click in the middle of your mainframe layer, selections expand by 8. Add a new raster layer and drag below your mainframe layer and fill with colour #f4d0d6, deselect.

5. X out your white layer and merge visable. Duplicate your merged layer and select the bottom merged layer and duplicate it. Adjust Gaussian blur 8 and add mask to layer and merge group.

6. Resize masked layer 110% and lower the opacity to 28. Move the mask layer up slightly to your liking.

This is what you should have -

You can now add a drop shadow to your top merged layer, I used 0,0,40,5.00 Black.

7. Copy and paster your tube as a new layer (Resize if needed) and add a drop shadow. I added 2,2,40,5.00 Black drop shadow to mine.

8. Next add your text, I used Redfive size 60 with 2 stroke FG. Select a dark and light colour from your frame for your text, I used #ae305b FG and #f3a7b4 BG. Stretch your tect to suit your tag, convert to raster and move the text layer below your tube.

9. I added a Gradient glow to my text -Settings, glow width 3.00 Fat white preset and added a drop shadow 0,0,50,5.00 Black.

10. Select your magic wand, same settings as before and click on your inner text.Then copy your tube as a new layer, resize if needed and position so it's over your text. When you are happy with it invert your selection and press delete, repeat this step so it covers your text.Change the opacity of the tube over text layer to Luminance (L) 53.

11. Resize and crop your tag, add your copyright and watermarks and merge visable.

TO ANIMATE

12. Right click and copy your merged tag and paste it as a new animation in Animation shop.
Duplicate your tag until you have 15 Frames.
Open your two Butterflies.gif and select all- copy, select all of your image and paste into selected frame your butterflies repeat again to add more.

13. Adjust the frame properties to 15, view your animation...If you are happy with it - save it as a .gif

Supplies

Lets Begin

1. Open your image of choice. Window, duplicate, close the original.

2. Choose 2 complimentary colours from the image. A light and dark colour. Now add border to image. Light colour first, 20 width. Now add another border, the dark colour this time with a width of 3.

3. Open new image 600 x 500 and flood fill white

4. Copy and paste your bordered image as a new layer on your blank canvas. Resize image if needed

5. Add a flower border now if you like.

6. Erase any parts of the border that may look messy overlapping.

7. Hide your white background layer and merge visible the rest.

8. Open your bows and choose a colour that matches your image. Copy the bow to your tag, resize by 70%. Duplicate that bow. Rotate the first bow by 10 degrees right and the second bow by 10 degrees left. Move to the top corners of the tag.

~If your original canvas size is to small now then go to Image, Canvas size and make the width bigger~

9. Add drop shadow to both your bows, V and H- 3 , opacity- 65, blur- 8.

10. Open your doodle art and paste onto tag. Duplicate, flip, mirror. Place in opposite corners of the tag. Move both doodle layers below image layer but above white background layer.

11. Open your heart jewellery and paste it on tag. Place it under the bow. Give it same drop shadow as used previously.

12. Add your name. I used the lighter colour from my border as the fill and white as the Stroke. I used the font 'evanescence'.

13. Give the name the same drop shadow as used earlier. Change the properties to hard light.

14. Add the artists copyright, crop and you're all done.

My supplies

Lets begin

1. Open blank canvas 500 x 500 and flood fill with white.

2. Set foreground to colour of choice or use the colour I used #F095AB. Close background colour.

3. Using preset shape 'gear 5' create as vector, line width 12, draw a large shape.

4. Once happy with size, convert to raster.

5. Open Scrap kit. Copy paper 4 and paste on canvas, below shape layer.

6. Using your magic wand and with your shape layer highlighted, click on the outside of the shape. Selections, modify, expand by 4.

7. Now highlight the paper layer and hit delete. Selections, select none.

8. Select grass layer from scrap kit. Copy and paste grass layer to tag, below shape layer but above paper layer.

9. Move grass to bottom of shape.

10. Highlight shape layer and using magic wand, click outside shape. Then highlight grass layer and hit delete.

11. Select other smaller images from Scrap kit (sun, butterflies, flowers) and copy to tag. Make sure they do not show past the outer edge of the shape layer.

12. Select bow from scrap kit and plce on top of tag, above shape layer.

13. Select doodles from Scrap kit and place two of them along bottom of tag, above shape layer.

See below for how mine looks

14. Add your tube with drop shadow v and h=0, opacity =45, blur =8. Add same drop shadow to shape layer.

15. Add correct tube copyright info

16. Add name with same drop shadow.

Make Me A Star

What we are making

You will need

Tubes of choice- I am using the art of Rion Vernon. You can purchase a licence to use his art from CILM

Font of choice- I used Footlight MT light for the name and Comic Sans for the 'Make me a star' text

Filters- Toadies Ommadawn and Mura meister copies

Lets Begin

1. Open up a blank canvas 650 x650 and floodfill white.

2. Using your preset shape, Star 2 line width 5, draw a large star. Foreground colour #5b7fa0, background colour black. Convert to raster

3. Now open your rectangle preset shape, line width 4, foreground white, background black and draw a small rectangle (rectangle 1). Convert to raster. Image, rotate, free rotate, left 15.

4. Draw a second rectangle (rectangle 2) using the same settings as the other but make it a bit larger. Convert to raster and then drop this rectangle below the other one.

5. Open your first tube and copy it onto your tag as a new layer. Move the tube to where you want it to sit on rectangle 1. Highlight rectangle 1 in the layer palatte and using your magic wand, click inside the black area. Selections, modify, expand by 1. Selections, invert. Now go back onto your tube layer and hit delete.

You should have something like this

6. Do the above steps again for rectangle 2 but use a different part of the tube.

7. Add drop shadow, v and h =0, opacity =78, blur 10, colour black, to both of the rectangles.

8. Open your main tube and paste as new layer. Position where you like it and add same drop shadow.

9. Now, go to your layer palette and 'X' out all the layers except the star layer. Highlight the star layer.

10. Change your background colour to #5b7fa0 and set your font to comic sans, size 16, stroke 0.

11. In the centre of your star write "Make me a star" and covert to raster.

12. Open your Mura Meister copies plugin with these settings

13. Now highlight your star layer again. Using your magic wand, click on the black interior of your star. Selections, invert. Now highlight your "make me a star' text layer and hit delete. Your text should now only be within the star.

14. Now go back onto your star layer and duplicate it twice. Keep the top star layer still and move the bottom 2 star layers to the left and right of the tag.

15. Use your Ommadawn filter on both of the bottom star layers. Setting as below

16. Add artists copyright and your name and you are all done.

Fresh As An Angel Daisy

What we are making

You will need

Tube of choice - I used the art of Angie Monasterio with a purchased licence.

Scrap Kit of choice - I used 'Fresh and Tender' scrap kit made by Hannah

Supplies - template and scrap kit

Lets Begin

1. Open template made and supplied by me.

2. Go to 'fresh and tender by hannah_papers' and open papers 1 and 5. Resize them both by 20%.

3. On your template, using your magic wand tolerance 15, click on the white section. Now paste paper 1 on your template as a new layer. Selections, Invert, delete.

4. Highlight the template layer again, using your magic wand tolerance 15, and click on the grey section.

5. Now paste paper 5 on your template as a new layer. Selections, invert, delete.

6. Delete your template layer completely now.

7. X out bottom layer and merge visible the two remaining layers. Rename that layer circle.

You should have something like this

8. Go to 'fresh and tender by Hannah-elements' and open the ribbon. Resize it by 20% and then copy it to your tag. Place it where the 2 papers meet.

9. Highlight your circle layer and using your magic wand, click just outside the circle. Now click back on the ribbon layer and hit delete.

10. Copy and paste your tube onto the tag, in the middle of the circle.

11. Highlight your circle layer and using your magic wand, click just outside the circle.

12. Highlight your tube layer and using your eraser tool (default, size 20, hardness 80) erase the bottom parts of the tube that are sticking out beyond the circle layer.

13. Selections, select none.

You should now have something like this

14. Go to 'fresh and tender by Hannah-elements' and open the tags.

15. Select which tag you would like to use and paste it on tag as top layer and resize by 15%.

16. Do same with a bluemchen flower but resize it by 55%.

17. Add drop shadow v and h- 0, opacity- 65, blur- 8 to the circle layer, the flower layer and the tag layer.

This is what you should have

18. Add any other elements from the Scrap Kit that you think would look nice. Have fun with this. Make the tag your own.

19. Add the copyright info.

20. Add your name and you are all done.

Lets Begin

1. Open blank canvas 500 x 500 and floodfill with white.

2. Add a new layer above the white layer and floodfill with colour of choice. I used #A7C5A6.

3. Load Beckys mask22 with these settings

4. Hide white layer and merge group other layers. Unhide white layer.

5. Open Live Laugh Love Frame and paste as new layer (above other layers).

6. Open your Live Love Laugh Swirls and paste them inside frame. Resize them so they are different sizes.Close all layer except the swirls and merge them together. Drop the opacity of that layer to 55. Drop the swirls layer below the frame.

You should have something like this:

7. Open your tube and paste above frame. If you are using the same tube as I have, you will need to resize it by 85% using smartsize. Make sure 'resize all layers' is unchecked.

8. Now move your tube layer below the frame layer. Duplicate the tube and move the duplicate above the frame layer.

9. Now we need to delete the extra tube bits. Make sure your duplicate layer is highlighted in your layer pallette. Click on your eraser tool, settings like below.

10. Now eraser the bottom of the tube that is overhanging the frame and the right side of the tube that is overhanging the frame. We want to leave the top of the fairys head so don't erase that part.

You should have something like this now:

11. Copy your dragonfly from your tube and paste as new layer. Duplicate it and resize the copy by 85%. Then mirror it and place both dragonflys where you think they look good.

12. Copy your Live Love Laugh flowers onto your tag. Resize them all differently. I resized by 40, 45 and 50%. Place where you think they look good.

This is what I have so far:

13. Add your heart charm. I resized by 75%.

14. Now its time to add the drop shadows. I added a v and h=0, opacity =36, blur =8 to the flowers, the frame and the dragonflys.

15. Add copyright info and your name and you are all done.

Drop Down Goth

Supplies you will need

Paint Shop Pro. I use version 8 but can be made using other versions.

3 images of choice. I have used the amazing artwork of Joel Adams. You can purchase a licence to use his art from CILM

Font of choice - I have used Medusa

Lets Get Started

1. Open 500 x 500 transparent image. Flood fill white.

2. Draw a large rectangle using your preset shape tool set to rectangle, width 2, foreground black, fill with #99ddf6 and move to left of tag.

3. Next draw a small square using line width 2, foreground black, fill Nil. Duplicate that square 2 times so you have a total of 3 squares. Rename the squares sq1, sq2, sq3 (top square being sq1).

4. Using your magic wand, tolerance and feather set to 0, click inside sq1. Selections, Modify, expand by 2, selections, promote selections to layer and floodfill with #cd2f32. Drop that layer below the sq 1 layer.

Do Step 4 to sq2 and sq3 but change the colours to sq2= #1c91ob and sq3= #19326e

This is what you should have so far

Rename the coloured squares in your layer palette to red, green, blue.

Your layer palette should look like this

5. Copy main tube and paste as new layer on tag. Resize if necessary and place over large blue rectangle. It doesnt matter if it overlaps in places.

6. Highlight red layer in layer palette. Using your magic wand, tolerance and feather at 0, click inside the red square.

7. Copy the second tube and paste as new layer on tag. Move tube over red square. Once positioned hit Selections, Invert, Delete, Selections, select none.

Your tag should now look like this

Do same to other 2 tubes with green square and blue square.

8. Hide background layer and merge visible all other layers.

9. Add your name. I used Medusa font. Add drop shadow V and H 3, 2, opacity 54, blur 6.00.

10. Resize tag if needed then add your copyright information and save as jpeg.

You will need-

Paint Shop Pro- I used version 9.

Alien Skin Eye Candy 4000- Gradient Glow.

Tube of choice- I am using the art of Myka Jelina, her tubes can be purchased from CILM.

Font of choice- I am using 2peas crazy pooch which can be downloaded HERE.

My pattern fill (optional)

Right click and save as. You may colour it to suit your tube. You may use this pattern for this tutorial only. If you dont wish to use it, there is a step in this tutorial to make your own.

Lets begin!

Open a new image, 600 x 600 with a white background. Copy and paste your tube as new layer.

Get the eye dropper tool and select 2 colours from tube, a light and medium colour. Shrink this main image for now. Open my pattern fill, or follow these steps to make your own.

To make the pattern fill-
open a new image 200x200. Floodfill with the light colour. With your circle tool, create on vector checked, draw out a few circles. Go back to the tube and pick a dark colour with the eye dropper tool. Draw out a few more smaller circles on top of the other circles. When you are happy with it all, hide the background layer and merge visible. Unhide background layer. On the circle layer, apply Eyecandy gradient glow- width 3, colour white, and select 'fat' from the list of styles. Then add a drop shadow- I used 0,0,41,6 black. Now merge visible.

Back to the main image now. Resize your tube so it isnt too big. Go to the materials palette and for the foreground, select black. For the background, click on the pattern tab and in the drop down box, look for the pattern tile you just made. Change the scale to 50%. Now with the circle tool again, line width 7, draw out a big circle (use my tag as a reference). Convert to raster layer and drag below your tube layer in the layer palette. Position the tube so its in the middle and add a drop shadow. I used- 0,0,75,18 colour #2aa0c7 which is a dark colour from the tube.

Now back to the big circle. With your light and dark colours in your material pallete (you might need to use the eye dropper tool again) apply Eye candy gradient glow. Width 4, fat style again. Change the colour to the light colour. Apply. Then apply gradient glow again, same settings, this time change the colour to the dark colour. Apply. Then apply it again, same settings but the colour black.

Duplicate your circle layer and apply gaussian blur- adjust-blur-gaussian blur. Radius 31. Nearly done, now for your name. Make sure your light and dark colours are still in the material palette. Using the text tool, write out your name. I used the font 2peas crazy pooch, size 40, kerning 175. Highlight the second letter of your name and using the little arrow in the corner of the squares showing the colours in your material pallete, switch the colours around. Repeat this so every second letter is the opposite colour than you started with. Line up your name so it is centred at the bottom of the circle. Convert to raster layer. Apply gradient glow- same as before- fat black- but change the width to 3.

Now all you need to do is add the copyright, crop and save as JPEG or PNG. all done! I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.

Cowgirl Style

You will need -

PSP - I used version 9.

Filters - Eyecandy 4000 (Wood, Glass, and Gradient Glow), and Penta (Colour Dot)

Tube of choice - Im using one by Michael Landefeld, you can purchase his tubes from CILM.

Brushes or Doodles of choice - I used brushes by Danetta

Lets start.

1. Open a new image, 600x600, floodfill white. Paste tube as new layer, select a dark and light colour.

2. Duplicate tube, resize one of them to fit the tag, on the other, lower the opacity to 50%.

3. Use preset shape tool, ellipse, width 10, bg null, draw an oval. Duplicate while its still a vector layer. Convert the copy of the layer to raster. On the vector layer, right click on it in the palette and click on properties. Change the line style to a dotted or dashed line, change the width to 3 and change the color to the lighter colour. Convert to raster layer, and drag above the dark oval. Merge down. We'll call this the frame from now on.

4. Duplicate frame, add a drop shadow to the copy - 2,2,50,5 black.

5. Highlight the first frame on the layer palette. Using magic wand tool, click on the inside of the oval. Selections-modify-expand-2. Selection invert. Click on the big 50% opacity tube layer and press delete on the keyboard. Selection invert again. Add a new layer above the white background layer. Flood fill with the light colour from the tube. While its still selected,apply filters- Eyecandy 4000- wood. Use default settings but change the pulp colour to your light colour, the bark colour to your dark colour, and in the grain tab up the top, change the grain colour to your dark colour. While the frame is still selected, go below the wood layer and add a new layer, flood fill white inside the selection. Select none. Lower the opacity of the wood layer to around 70 (have a play with it to see what looks best).

6. Hide all layers except the frame with the shadow, oval tube, the wood and the white oval layers, and merge visible. You can now delete the oval frame, the one without the drop shadow on it.While the merged layer is highlighted on the layer palette, duplicate, then go to the bottom one and Gaussian blur- radius 20. Plugins- penta- colour dot- value 90, distance 3.

7. Unhide your tube and add the same drop shadow as before to it.

8. If you want to add brushes or doodles, put them below the oval and above the white bg layer.

9. Now for your name- same dark colour as before. I used 'lauren script' size 60. Line it up down the bottom of the tag so its half on the oval and half off the oval (see tag up the top for example). Convert to raster layer. Plugins-Eyecandy-glass- with these settings-

Then apply filters- Eyecandy- gradient glow with these settings -

10. Add the same drop shadow as before, to your name. Add your copyrights and watermark, crop and merge all (flatten). Save as jpeg or png, and we're finished.

Let's begin.

New image 600x600, floodfill white. Using the rectangle tool with black background in the material palette and no line width, draw out a rectangle a bit smaller than you'd like the finished tag to be. Convert to raster layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize and sharpen if necessary, so that it fits neatly in the rectangle. X that out for now. Using the pen tool, line style solid, width 2, colour black, draw a line at the bottom of the rectangle. Convert to raster layer and position it in the layer palette above the big rectangle and below the tube. Duplicate layer twice so there are 3. Apply filters - Eyecandy 4000 - Fire with the following settings -

Apply the fire to the other 2 line layers but changing the random seed for each of them. Highlight the big rectangle layer on the layer palette and using the magic wand tool and click anywhere on the white background. Click on each of the fire layers and hit the delete key on the keyboard. Select none.

Back to the rectangle tool - foreground black, background null, line style solid, width 20, draw out a rectangle the same size as the original rectangle. Convert to raster layer.

Bring this layer right to the top of the layer palette. Apply Eyecandy Gradient Glow - click on settings and choose 'blazing sun'. Change the width to 7 and check the box that says 'draw only outside selection'.

Duplicate this frame layer and drag it right down in the layer palette so it is above the white background. Apply plugins - Toadies - What Are You? set the overdose to 12.

Now for the text. I used 'subway' size 12, colour white, and wrote 'its getting hot in here', but you can use whatever and type whatever would suit. Position up the top in the border. Convert to raster layer.

For the name down the bottom - open a new image 150x150, flood fill white. Going back to the original tag, pick a colour from the flames using the eye dropper tool (I used #d38400). Back to the little image, go Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds with the following settings -

Back to main image now. Go to material palette, for the background go into pattern and find the little image we just made. Foreground null. Using the same font just a lot bigger, type your name. I used size 60. Convert to raster layer and position it down the bottom. Go to gradient glow again, use these settings -

After that, use the same settings we used on the frame - Gradient Glow - blazing sun, size 7, draw outside checked.

If you want to add something to the border do it now. I used a divider but you can use whatever. Drag these below your name in the layer palette.

Add copyright and crop your tag. X out the 2 bottom flame layers in the layer palate. Copy merged, then paste into Ani Shop. Back to PSP - x out the top flames, un-x the second ones, copy merged, paste in Ani Shop, after current frame. X out the second one, un-x the last one, copy merged and paste after current frame back in Ani Shop.

Make sure one of the 3 frames is highlighted, hit Ctrl-A on the keyboard to highlight all of them, then press Alt-Enter to bring up the frame properties. Change the speed to 50. View - animation - then save as. And we're done.

Hottie

You will need-

Paint Shop Pro- I used version 9.

Tube of choice- I am using the art of Josh Howard, his site is HERE.

Fill/Pattern of choice- I am using these great Glitter Tiles made by Bluebird, which can be downloaded HERE.

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow.

Fonts of choice- Im using Nashville and Phorfeit.

Lets begin!

1. First off, get your material palette prepared. Open your glitter tile in PSP. Go to the material palette for the foreground and in the pattern tab, select the glitter tile. For the background select black, or another dark colour that will match your tube.

2. Open your tube in PSP. Open a new image, 600 x 600 with a white background. Using your circle tool, create on vector checked, width 20, draw out a large circle. Convert to raster layer. With your magic wand tool, select the inside of the circle. Selections- invert. And then go selections- promote selection to layer. Then select none. This has now given us a copy of the glitter part of the circle. To the promoted selection layer, apply Eye Candy gradient glow with the following settings-

Now apply gradient glow again, changing the width to 3 and the colour to white. Apply gradient glow again, changing the colour back to black, leaving the width at 3, but changing the setting to Medium.

3. With your circle tool, width 3, foreground white or another light colour, background null, create on vector checked (this is a must), draw out a smaller circle in the middle of your big circle. Keep in mind the gap here->

is where your big text is going to be. When you are happy the circle is big or small enough, go to Layers- New Vector Layer, then press the OK button that pops up. Now click on your text tool- see how the circle gets a box around it like this-

Move your curser (it should be a cross with an A next to it) towards one of the dots on the edge of the circle. When you get near it and the curser picture changes to a cross with an A on the side with a curve underneith it- that is when you left click and the text box appears. Now type out a word a few times- mine is HOTTIE- using a fat font, and the glitter tile pattern as the background in the material pallate. I used 'Nashville' size 52, kerning 25. Play around with the kerning to make the text fill the circle- the higher the kerning, the bigger the space between the letters. The end kerning will depend on what font you use, and how big the letters and your circle is. When you are happy with it, convert to raster layer. Delete the little white circle from your layer pallate. You should now have something like this-

Now apply eye candy gradient glow to your words- width 3, colour white, settings- fat.

4. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, and resize if necessary. Place it in the center of the circle. Apply the following drop shadow-

Apply the same drop shadow again, this time changing the horizontal offset from 5 to -5.

5. Now for your name. I used the font 'Phorfeit', size 62, using the glitter tile. Convert to raster layer. Apply gradient glow, same settings as before. Apply gradient glow again, changing the colour to black. Now put your copyright and watermark, crop and save. All done! I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.

Into The Night

You will need-

PSP- I used version 9

Animation Shop

Tube of choice- I used the art of Michele Lynch- you can buy her tubes from UP YOUR ART

Filters-
Eyecandy 4000- Gradient Glow.
PhotoEffex- Scanlines (can be substituted with PSP texture effects- blinds).
VM Extravaganza- Transmission.
Xenofex-Constellation (optional)

Lets begin.

Open a new image, 600x600, flood fill white.

Pick 2 colours from your tube, a light one for your foreground and a dark one for your background. Select the rectangle tool, line style solid, width 5, and draw out a fair sized rectangle, but not too big. Convert to raster layer.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Duplicate, and mirror the bottom one. Resize the top one if necessary.

On the top tube layer, apply Eyecandy-Gradient Glow- thin, width 4, colour black. Hide this layer for now.

Highlight the rectangle layer on the layer palette and select the inside of it with the magic wand tool. Selection invert. Highlight the big tube layer and press the delete key on the keyboard. Selection invert again. Merge down so the rectangle and big tube layers are now one.

Apply Photoeffex-Scanlines with these settings-

Or instead of Scanlines you can use Texture Effects-Blinds with these settings-

Select none. Apply same gradient glow as before.

Duplicate rectangle layer and apply a Gaussian Blur with a radius of 15 to the original layer. Then apply filters-VM Extravaganza-Transmission line width and offset- 4, contrast 40. Move this bottom layer over a bit so its not all hanging over to one side.

OPTIONAL SPARKLY BITS

Highlight the layer that is below the hidden tube layer. Switch your colours around in the material palette so the light colour is now the background. Using your preset shape tool, no line width, create as vector checked- draw out any shape you like so it fits into the rectangle. I used a standard gear shape. Stretch it out a bit until you are happy with it and convert to raster layer.

Duplicate the shape layer twice so there are 3 of them.
Apply filters-Xenofex 2-Constellation with these settings-

Do that to all 3 shape layers but change the random seed of the constellation each time.

Unhide your tube layer, and using the eraser set on square, zoom in and erase the bits of gradient glow and tube that hang off the bottom of the rectangle-

Add your name to the bottom of the tag using the light colour, and apply the same gradient glow as before. I used font 'Amerika' size 55. Add copyrights and watermarks and crop tag to your liking. If you haven't done any sparkly bits then merge visible and save as Jpeg or PNG, and you are finished.

Now the animation-

Make only one of your sparkly shape layers visible, x out the other two. Copy merged, and paste into animation shop as a new animation. Go back to psp, x out the visible shape layer and un-x one of the other layers. Copy merged, paste into animation shop after the first frame. Back to psp, and un-x the last layer, x out the second one. Copy merged, paste in animation shop after current frame.

Highlight one of the frames and press Ctrl-a on the keyboard to select all the frames. Then press Alt-Enter to bring up the frame properties. Change the speed to 13.

View animation and save. And we're done!

Brushes of choice

Lets start.

1. Open a new image, 600x600 white bg. In the materials palatte, set stroke to white, fill to black. Using the square tool, create on vector checked, width 7, draw out a square about 140x140. Duplicate, convert to raster layer. In the layer palette, right click on the vector square layer and go - properties. Change the stroke to black and the fill to white. Convert to raster layer. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,50,8 to both squares. Line them up next to each other so you have something like this -

Click on the top square layer, merge down. Duplicate, then image - flip, then image - mirror. Position them so the 4 squares are in the shape of one big square. Click on the top layer and again, merge down. Add the same drop shadow as before.

2. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer. Duplicate once and x it out for the time being. Using the one that is visible, position it over one of the white squares. Highlight the square layer on the layer palatte, using the magic wand tool, tolerance 20, feather 0, click inside the white square. Selection - invert. Click back to the tube layer and press delete on your keyboard. Select none. Set the opacity to 50% and duplicate. Move this tube over to the other white square. Hide the background layer and merge visible.

3. Unhide your other tube now, and resize to your liking. Position it like so -

Apply plugin-Eyecandy-Gradient Glow- width 6, thin, to your tube. Now hide it again, and highlight the layer under it (the merged one) and select your text tool. With your fill still white in your material palatte, write out any text you like, so it fits into one of the black squares. I used the font 'waywardBRK'. When you are happy with your text, convert to raster layer, and duplicate. Postion the duplicate on the other black square. You should now have something like this -

4. Click on the background layer, and add a new raster layer. Apply some brushes around the inside of the edge of the big square. Unhide your tube layer, add your name (i used the font '36 days ago-thick') in black. Add a thin white gradient glow, this time width 3. Add your copyright and watermark, crop, save and your done!

Old Time Rock and Roll

You will need-

Jukebox tube of choice - google for jukebox psp tubes and you will find several sites with suitable tubes.

Tube of choice- I am using the art of Popeye Wong- his website is HERE.

Font of choice, I am using 'Neon Lights' which can be downloaded HERE.

Filters- Eye Candy 4000- Glass and Gradient Glow.

OK lets begin.

Create a new image 300x300, floodfill black. Paste jukebox tube and resize to fit, I resized mine 85%.

Go to the tube you are going to use and pick a colour from it. Go to the material palette and
find the hue and saturation for the colour- located here-

On the jukebox layer, go to adjust- hue and saturation- colourise and type in the numbers for h and s.

Duplicate this layer twice so there is 3 layers. Now duplicate the black layer so there is 3.

Hide 2 of the jukebox layers and 2 black layers. Change the opacity of the jukebox to 50%.

Merge visible. Repeat this for the other 2 jukeboxes but change the opacity to 65% and 80%.

Now make a new image, 600x600, floodfill white. Copy each of the jukebox layers and paste them onto the big image. Using the rectangle tool, width 10, foreground the colour you picked from the tube and background null, draw out a 'border' around the edge of the black squares. Convert to raster layer, and apply Eyecandy Glass, settings- ruby-but change the gradient shading to 30 (you can use whatever setting you like, i just chose ruby because the main colour im working with is pink).

Duplicate the frame, and rotate it 45 degrees. Select the inside with the magic wand tool, expand by 1.

Add new layer and drag under the rotated frame. Floodfill in the selection. While it is still selected, apply effects- texture effects, blinds with the following settings, then select none.

Merge frame and blinds layer together. Add a drop shadow, I used 0,0,50,10 black. Go back up to the unrotated frame and add the same dropshadow. Paste your tube as a new layer, resize if neccesary, add a dropshadow of choice, and move to the side a little bit.

Now for your name. I used 'Neon Lights' size 80 in the same colour I picked from the tube before. Rotate left 90 degrees. Apply eyecandy-gradient glow, width 4, medium setting, black. Place to the other side of the square. Add your copyright and crop tag to size, and we're ready to animate.

On your layer palette, x out the two black squares with the 65 and 80% opacity jukeboxes. Copy merged, and paste into animation shop as a new animation. Back to psp, and hide the 50% jukebox layer. Un x the 65% one, copy merged, and paste in animation shop, after current frame. Do the same thing again but with the 80% layer. In animation shop you should have 3 frames, the 50%, 65% then 80%. Highlight the 65% frame, right click and copy. Then click on the third frame (the 80% one) and paste after current frame. On the keyboard press Ctrl-A to select all frames, and then press Alt-Enter, to bring up the frame properties. Change the display time to 30. View animation, and save as GIF. And we're done.

Sexy Plaid

You will need

Paint Shop Pro - I used version 9, but any version should do.

4 tubes of your choice- I used the artworks of Elias Chatzoudis, his tubes can be purchased from HERE.

Scrapkit of choice- you will be needing papers, sidemounts/frames and embellishments. You can download the Scrapkits I used from www.shasdesigns.com. The kits I used are called 'a touch of plaid' (papers, sidemounts and embellishments) and 'cardboard crumple' (embellishments).

Texture of choice- I used one that came with PSP.

Lets begin!

Open a new image 600x600 white background. Copy and paste paper as new layer, and resize if necessary. Copy and paste a sidemount as a new layer - make sure its a different colour/pattern to the paper. Resize by 80 %.

Add a drop shadow of 1,1,60,9, black. Copy and paste one of your tubes above the paper but below the sidemount layers.

Line up the head or main part of the tube so its in the middle of the sidemount. Adjust-blur-gaussian blur- radius of 1.

Change the opacity of the tube to 75%. With your magic wand select the inside of the sidemount,
expand by 10 and Selection-invert. Select the tube layer, hit delete on the keyboard. Select the paper layer, hit delete on the keyboard. Hide the white background layer and merge visible. Now you do it all that again with 2 more tubes, papers and sidemounts. Make sure you dont pair up the same colour/patterns for the paper and sidemount.

When they are all finished, position them as you like (or use my tag as a reference). Hide the background layer, copy merged, and paste as a new layer. In the layer palette, move this one so it is above the background but below the others. Line it up so it is hidden behind the other sidemount layers. Adjust-blur-gaussian blur- radius of 20. Then go Effects-texture effects- texture and apply the following-

Paste your main tube as a new layer, resize if necessary and add the same drop shadow as before. I moved my tube a little to the right, but you can place it anywhere it suits. Now you can get whatever embellishments you like and place wherever they look good. I used ribbons, staples and flowers (that are under the sidemount layers and above the texture layer) from the 'Touch of Plaid' kit; and tag and bow from 'Cardboard Crumple' kit, I coloured them to suit. Add the same drop shadow to all embellishment layers.

Now put your name, any other words if it suits (or even word art) your copyright and its ready to crop and save as JPEG or PNG.
